ITA's "Fifty for the Future" Award Winners
The Coleman Center is pleased to announce that Brian Fritton and Antonio Rowry, DePaul students and Coleman Center clients, have been selected to be part of the Illinois Information Technology Association’s (ITA) “Fifty for the Future”. This award gives special recognition to fifty students from colleges and universities in the Chicagoland area for their outstanding achievement as students and future participants in the technology industry.
Both students were selected after a panel of judges reviewed nominations from local universities of their best technology-industry students. Brian, a sophmore majoring in E-Business, is the founder of Titan Hotspots, LLC - an out-of-the-box solution for companies to create WiFi hotspots. Antonio is a senior studying Business Administration and co-founded North Shore Logistics Group, a company that provides notebook computers and imported mobile devices with comprehensive tech support.
The “Fifty for the Future” were presented at the annual ITA CityLIGHTS Awards Gala on April 3, 2008, which recognized the achievement of Illinois-based technology companies. Through “Fifty for the Future,” ITA hopes to identify the best technology industry-minded students in computer science, engineering, math and business at Illinois universities, as well as understand how to connect them with Illinois’ major technology companies.
