Registration
To register for the competition, teams fill out a Registration Form. The registration form needs to contain the names of all the team members, the name of the advisor, and contact information for the team. The DePaul student or alumnus must be the primary contact for the team.
The team must indicate on the registration form that they have waived non-disclosure for the competition. This is required because the submissions must be accessed by competition organizers and judges.
During the registration period, Q&A sessions are held on each campus for students and interested parties to attend to learn more about the competition. Q&A sessions will cover the rules of the competition and some guidelines for the crafting of a venture summary.
The registration period is an ideal time for a team to find an advisor. The role of the advisor is to provide guidance to the team, and feedback on their submissions. An advisor could be a faculty member from DePaul or another university, or a professional who has experience in an industry that the team is interested in, or an experienced entrepreneur.
