The mission of DQI USA is to provide the best metrics possible through which clients can assess how well buildings are designed, satisfying the requirements of governmental mandates and/or the requirements of private asset owners. The DQI is an online questionnaire that collects data from anyone with a vested interest in producing the best design possible for a building. These stakeholders respond to the DQI, and individual subjective perceptions are translated into objective measurable results via a proprietary algorithm tool.

About the Competition

The DePaul New Venture Challenge (DNVC) is an annual business plan competition for the DePaul community with a prize of up to $25,000 in cash and entrepreneurial services. To participate, teams need 3-5 members, one of whom must be a current DePaul student or recent graduate.

Teams initially submit a 3-5 page Venture Summary with their proposed business ideas, and semifinalists then write full Business Plans in the second round of the competition. The DNVC concludes with three finalists presenting their ventures to a panel of esteemed judges.

Along the way, assistance is available from the Coleman Center and its network of faculty, staff, experienced entrepreneurs, and Chicago-area professionals.

Registration for the 2008 DePaul New Venture Challenge is closed.
