Launch DePaul
Launch DePaul (formerly known as the DePaul New Venture Challenge) is an annual entrepreneurial competition for the DePaul community in which teams led by DePaul students or recent alumni compete for a prize of $10,000 in cash and a package of professional services*. The competition emphasizes the ability of teams to demonstrate the sustainability of their ventures, illustrated by the achievement of milestones and/or documentation of market potential.
The competition has two tracks: for-profit ventures and non-profit/social ventures. To ensure the non-profit track is viable, a minimum of three non-profit/social venture submissions must be received. If the minimum is not met, the competition will feature one track and any non-profit/social venture submissions will be considered among for-profit ventures.
*There will be a cash prize of $10,000 and a package of professional services distributed among finalist teams between the two tracks. The distribution will be determined by the final round judges.
