|
It doesn't have to be lonely at the top anymore.
The Coleman Center Peer Roundtables are a place where business owners can:
- Look to their peers - other business owners - for objective points of view that are experience-based
- Receive support from others who have "been there and done that"
- Refresh their perspectives both personally and on their companies
- Learn to transform their fears into aspirations for further success
- Have a sounding board for problem-solving to address business challenges and objectives
Testimonials
- “…one of the best. I've learned more from fellow business owners than I ever expected...” - Nick G.
- "The biggest difference between the GROW Roundtable and other groups I’ve been involved with is experiences are shared, rather than advice being given." - Tim W.
- “It's been so helpful...I know that we all have benefited from each other's experiences and perspectives." - Christen C.

Loop Facilitator

Bruce Leech founded CrossCom National, Inc. in 1981, a company that achieved $90 million in annual revenues. CrossCom installs and services voice and data systems for large US retailers like Walgreens, CVS, Kohls, Kmart, and TJ Maxx. Bruce also expanded CrossCom into the UK and supported both US and UK retailers. In 2004, Bruce sold a majority interest in the firm to a private equity group, and continues to serve on CrossCom's Board of Directors. Bruce is Co-Founder of evolve, LLC a membership organization of business owners working on their value creation and business transition strategies. Having been through this process himself, Bruce is able to provide insight into this very important area in the life of the business owner. Furthermore, he serves as an advisor to several companies and is involved with a number of non-profit organizations and educational institutions. Bruce earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, and an MBA from DePaul University. He is also Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center at DePaul.
“I was involved in a peer roundtable for over 10 years and have found it to be the most effective learning tool in my business life. When you are the boss it can be a very lonely place, and I always relied on the other roundtable members who had “been there and done that” for honest and open feedback. They were willing to share their experiences which provided me with new ideas to deal with the challenges in my business. Knowledgeable group facilitators are key components to successful peer roundtables as they keep the group on schedule, ensure urgent and important topics are covered, and draw on their own entrepreneurial experiences to function as sounding boards for members between meetings.” - Bruce Leech
