Kevin co-founded Torque in 1992, and has built the company into a brand marketing agency. Clients tap Torque to launch new products and businesses, and to refresh and sharpen their competitive advantage in crowded markets. Torque translates business strategies into poignant marketing programs, providing creative marketing services for web2.0 and traditional media campaigns.

The heart of Kevin’s approach to brand development is to understand each client’s customer tribes, their preferences, their connections to each other, and their motivations to buy. Clients include mid market companies and Fortune 1000 companies, such as Follett Higher Education, Goose Island Beer Co., Prime Group Inc., Green Exchange, Wilson Sporting Goods, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and US Gypsum.

After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Kevin’s education has continued in the form of post-graduate coursework at DePaul University and Northeastern Illinois University, as well as numerous trainings, seminars and involvement in business associations.

About Members-Only Gatherings
Members-only gatherings are monthly get-togethers for Coleman Center members and guests to gain knowledge, learn new skills, build relationships, and be inspired. Gatherings are rotated through the different discussion formats listed below, integrating peer-to-peer learning, mentoring, and dialogue. These members-only events typically meet the first Friday of each month and are free for members and guests.

My Life as an Entrepreneur
- Successful entrepreneurs share their personal story with Coleman Center members. Format allows time for Q&A and group discussion.

The Nuts & Bolts of Business Ownership - Carefully selected subject matter experts lead a practical “how to” dialogue on their area of expertise (i.e.: social media, hiring, legal issues, etc.). Time is allotted for Q&A, networking, and group discussion.

Peer Circle - Coleman Center members and guests participate in a peer roundtable discussion to help resolve each other’s business issues. Discussion integrates questions and challenges from members, brainstorming solutions, resource suggestions, and networking.
