Pitching Your Plan: How to Deliver a Perfect Presentation to Investors

  • Tuesday, March 20, 2007

First impressions count, especially when you are pitching your business plan to potential investors. You want them to know that your business is a great opportunity, but you may have only a few minutes to do so. How do you get the most out of that time? Come to this LAUNCH seminar and find out!

There are several ways we are going to help you prepare a perfect presentation:

  • BY EXPOSURE: We've worked with investors to find out the information that they most want to see and hear in a business plan pitch. We will present that information to you in a workshop, and also show you how to deliver your presentation with style.
  • BY EXPERIENCE: Two live case studies where entrepreneurs present the first draft of their plans. As an audience member, you evaluate their presentations and give them feedback. They will then use the feedback and workshop information to revise their presentations. You'll be able to see how little changes can make a huge difference in a presentation.
  • BY EXAMPLE: Two entrepreneurs will present their "best practice" pitches. These entrepreneurs have been successful in their efforts to raise money for their ventures, and their great presentations are a big part of their success.

If you are getting ready to go out and raise money for your business, this seminar is the perfect first step. It's often said that time is the most valuable resource for an entrepreneur: make the best use out of yours at Pitching Your Plan!
