Creativity might be the single most important skill an entrepreneur has. The ability to creatively uncover market needs, research them, imagine solutions, create new products/services, and market them all rely on heavily on creative thought. Unfortunately, few entrepreneurs ever receive formal training in creative thinking process. Contrary to common myth, creativity can be taught. And one does not need an Einsteinian IQ, be a radical out-of-the-box thinker, or even artistically inclined to have highly effective creative ideas for business. In this workshop you'll learn that creativity is more than self-expression; it's problem solving. You'll learn about creative style, productive creative behavior, and the basics of a proven method/approach for creative problem solving (Osborn-Parnes model -- "CPS"). You'll practice the CPS model on a problem of your own choice. Gregg Fraley, an experienced entrepreneur, will cite real life examples to illustrate his points.

Gregg Fraley works as a marketing and new product development consultant to Fortune 500 companies. He facilitates brainstorming/ideation sessions for these firms, and does keynote speeches and workshops on creative thinking, innovation, problem solving, and new product development to diverse audiences. He is a partner of the qualitative market research firm D.S. Fraley Associates, and author and illustrator of the recently published book on qualitative research, "Moderating to the Max". Gregg is a board member of the Creative Education Foundation (CEF). He leads sessions annually at the CREA conference (European Creativity Association) and he is a professional member of the National Speakers Association (USA). Gregg does improvisation with Players Workshop of Second City and trains with Improv Olympics. For more information about Gregg see his website: www.greggfraley.com
