DePaul Alumni Release Their First iPhone Game in New Startup

Arthur Mortega (CDM '08) and Christopher Ingebrigtsen (CDM '08) are both recent DePaul graduates from the Game Development Program that is part of the College of Computing and Digital Media. Together they are a part of a new game development startup called Metamoorephosis Games.

Arthur has a long history as a DePaul student leader and entrepreneur who currently sits on the eMerge Council for the Coleman Center.  Chris was also a student leader and former President of DeFrag (DePaul's Fundamental Research in Academic Gaming).

On October 30 their first iPhone multiplayer puzzle game bitFLIP was released on the Apple's iTunes Store.  To celebrate this accomplishment, Metamoorephosis will be hosting a showcase event at the Apple Store -Downtown Chicago 679 North Michigan Ave - this Friday the 13th from 7-8pm.  The team will be demoing their new game bitFLIP and will discuss the adventures of being a startup and independent studio.
