The William G. McGowan Scholars Program
The McGowan Charitable Fund has established a program, the McGowan Scholars, to provide selected colleges and universities with scholarships to help students who wish to pursue a business education.
The scholarship includes one academic year’s worth of tuition and fees (Fall, Winter, and Spring 2009-10; up to $18,000) minus any scholarships or other funding the student may already be receiving. Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Undergraduate or graduate student in the College of Commerce
- Undergraduate - must be full time junior with at least a 3.0 GPA
- Graduate - must have completed at least one semester of work and be full time
The submission deadline is 5:00 pm, Friday, April 3, 2009 and winners will be announced Monday, April 13, 2009.
