I had the privilege of serving as moderator and, having been in that role for a number of such panel discussions in the past, I must say that this was one of the most fascinating events we have held.

As I prepare to to teach Start Up! Chicago, I'm reminiscing about sitting in my old cubical, daydreaming about starting my own business. I had lots of ideas but little else. If you are thinking of starting a business, take my advice and start today. Buy a book, take a class, write a business plan, and meet other entrepreneurs. Do something.
